Why Cru?
These past couple of years God has been working in my life by developing a heart for college students. They are our future business leaders, doctors, teachers, politicians, and parents.

I have been given the opportunity to use what God has done in my life to point them to Jesus and intentionally get to know them. I had been volunteering my time and helping with the Cru movement that I was once involved in. There is current a need for women staff members at Morehead State University... the harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few.
Most recently, I was reading Isaiah’s commission in Isaiah 6. I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “whom shall I send and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!” And he said, “Go, and say to this people:” After reading this, I see a true heart's response.
Like Isaiah, I trust and say “Here am I” and God is saying, “go.” There is an excitement “!” as I am surrendering my career.
The Lord has placed me and confirmed each step I’ve taken so far in this process of surrendering.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
Matthew 28:19-20
